A coworker recommended this router to us as we were having issues with our internet (poor coverage, frequent outages, slow response time). We thought it was our internet provider. After her suggestion we decided to try this first and it solved all of our problems. The wifi now reaches throughout our home (4400 square feet). It provides faster service as well. We have three laptops, six smart phones, one smart TV, one computer, Direct Tv, two blue ray players and four gaming systems connected to it. We highly recommend this product.

ISP can't keep up with this router.

Excellent Router. So far My basement wifi went from 45%-68% signal strength Windows (WNDR4500) to 90% in the basement. (Nighthawk)Dining Room 100% Living Room 100% Too bad ISP can't keep up. But I am getting 117(wired)50-60(wireless) MBPS on Mediacom's Best in Clearlake, Ca. Region. This is a pricey router, but it is well built. Unless this stops performing, I will be very happy with this router five years from now.

High Quality

Easy setup that took a small amount of time to upgrade firmware real fast. My previous router was a NetGear as well but from like 6 or 7 years ago and I got great speeds on it but using this I now can reach the potential of the Ultra High Speed internet I have. Where as before I didn't much over 10 MB/s download I can now hit over 27 MB/s downloads on my steam games. Having a family that watches Netflix, Hulu and Vudu it's nice to know I have a reliable router backing up what we use in place of cable TV.
