Muscle Rack 60" W x 72" H x 24" D 5-Tier Steel Freestanding Garage Shelf

I bought five of these shelf units for use in my new shop building. I didn't want some flimsy shelves and these are certainly heavy duty. I'm not a fan of particleboard but, considering the high cost of plywood, the particleboard should work well if it is kept dry and the space where you use them is not a high humidity space. I intend to paint the particleboard shelves with an oil-based paint to protect them from moisture. I like that the shelves are wider than the usual 3' wide units. The wider width and 2' depth allow you a lot more options for storing various sized objects. I will buy more of these shelves and would recommend them to anyone. The boxed units are very heavy and, considering my 70-year age and weaker condition, I worried about having to move them from my porch, where most of my packages are delivered, to my shop. Luckily, the really nice guys who delivered them placed them inside my shop for me. I really appreciated that!

"Good sturdy shelf unit. Tha shelf inserts were 1/2"" particle board. It would be sturdier if the shelves were 5/8 or 3/4"" thick."
