Very sturdy the and exact height I needed Very well pleased with the item but just not the delivery. I could send a picture of where the driver dropped off the package way away from the house and the barn that it was supposed to be brought to. And 10 minutes later started raining on all 3 packages. Otherwise the items were great but wet.

This shelf is pretty sturdy once it's built. While it's being built it is extremely unstable, which makes it a little difficult to assemble. Assembly took me about an hour. I honestly thought it would take me about 20mins, but I had to disassemble it to get the right measurements between shelves. I'm not sure if I measured wrong or if it's just the way it was but when I finished it the bottom shelf was much too tall and the second from the top shelf was much to small. The shelves themselves are pretty thin, so I'm hoping that they don't start to buckle under weight. I'm using this shelf in a finished basement to hold pictures in frames, a few knickknacks, and a electric tart burner. Size was as described and it looks pretty good too. I bought this shelf based on size and price alone, and not how it looked so the fact that it looks good is a bonus. I bought the black one.
