they are comfortable enough that I wear them like shorts around the house. Don't know what I would do without this in my hockey bag. Jock is more comfortable than other brands I've tried, although the shorts themselves are a little snug, so I would recommend going a size larger unless you want a tight, almost compression-like fit. Took one in the family maker last week.. the cup works. Shorts are really good, hold socks up nice, and are comfortable to wear. Seemed to run a little small. I am 5'10 with a 36' waist, this size is good for me. I took the cup out, but it is very comfortable and keeps my socks up. Good quality, if I take care of it I'm sure I'll have them for many years. Product is comfortable and works great! I wish the legs were SLIGHTLY longer, but overall, definitely recommend.
