I chose the dark gray color to to cover a green floral patterned box spring. I wasnt sure if it would cover up the pattern, but it did. I cannot see it through the fabric. Perfect! I chose to try to put on with the mattress on the box spring and had no problem. I had my husband help me get it even and stretched over the top and then was able to do the rest myself. Easy!
