I love these boots!

I had an earlier version of the Rimfrost boot that lasted me for years. Then right when they gasped their last breath at the end of this last winter, I couldn't find the boot anymore. I looked everywhere and contemplated used, imports, etc. I had another type of Mountain Horse winter paddock boot that I had not used much, but it was not even close to the quality and I had to throw them out having used them in total just a year or so. What a bummer. I finally found the Rimfrost again (they are a little different material than the earlier ones) but essentially the same great boot. Perfect right out of the box.

I love these boots

I am such a hard to fit rider for tall boots. I have a shirt calf, but large foot size and a 17” calf measurement. These boots were a last resort order and I for sure thought when I ordered them they would disappoint in sizeing like all the others and I would be boot less and sending them back. NOT THE CASE! I love these boots. They are short and don't kill the back of my knee. They are wide calf so my leg isn't suffocating and I can zip them all the way up without struggle. They have withstood Michigan's winter this season and are so cozy and warm!

Not as warm as the activerider but fits better

After breaking two-3 pairs of activerider in the same spot (ankle) i went to the rimfrost with the larger ankle. A very nice winter boot that is not as warm based on lining as the activerider but has more insulation on the footbed for warmer standing. Looks like i wont break this one in the ankle
