I got took to the cleaners on this bike. This was my son's 15th birthday present Paid Walmart to put it together After writing it 41 hour the Is crank set loosened up It was obvious something was strepped Call mongoose They had no replacement crank sets I was told they would cover the cost of a new crank set installed Took it to the bike shop and paid a ton of money only to find out The crank set was installed incorrectly a the race was stripped during original assembly. Now I owe the bike shop money for a crank set that they can't use Because they are different than a normal crank set probably 5% probably 5% of the bikes out there use this crank set I also O them labor 42 hours of trying to figure out why every time they put a crank set in it it would loosen right back up Then disassembly and delivery as they are mobile and there is no bike shops within 75 miles of me here in northern Michigan I am sick this has been going on 43 weeks now and my son has yet to receive a birthday present nor will he get one until this has breturned and paid. It's not an issue of poor me or poor baby's bike But he is my son and I feel for him Now the question is after they receive the bike are they going to pay me for my bike shop fees that ended in 0 result due to their crank set installation debacle And what about the aggravation and stress And the 15-year-old that got no birthday present Was the most expensive bike we have ever purchased and it came unglued
