It was a good purchase for my needs as I was looking for a smaller corner desk to fit into a smaller room. The material seems to be cheaper particle board. I bumped into it with a metal shelf and the cheaper material was gauged out much more than a more solid wood would have been damaged. It's pretty good product for the price, just need to be careful not to damage it. Not too difficult to assemble.

Searched extensively for a desk with similar dimensions. Most are larger, or smaller (and less functional). Perfect size. I ordered mine in white, and with the open styling, it complements a small room and doesn't feel cramped. Easy enough to assemble. A cordless drill is definitely helpful, but not necessary. Quite solid. Sits square. No wobble. So far, seems a high value. Rated four stars for a couple of small dings. I don't doubt the company would make it right...but I don't have any interest in packing/shipping or waiting for parts. I'll just live with them.
