Product details
MHI Safer-Grip Bathtub and Shower Handle Balance Assist Bar allows the user to enter a wet and slippery tub safely and with confidence. The suction cup design makes the bar easy to attach, remove, or relocate. For intended results, product must be placed on a smooth, dry, non-porous surface. For installation on tile; tile must be 4" x 4" or greater. Features a chrome sleek finish with grey under molding. Also features a textured grip for additional stability.
- Safe-er-Grip balance assist bar provides you with the extra stability you need while getting in and out of the tub
- Strong suction cup design works on any non-porous, flat surface, including tile, glass, acrylic, and metal allowing you to place the grab bar where you need it most
- Simple tool free installation makes this grab bar easy to install or remove from the tub or shower walls with locking latches to secure the bar in place
- Textured contoured rubber grip underneath handle provides a comfortable non slip grip which is perfect for the injured or elderly
- This balance assist bar is meant to be used on flat, non-porous surfaces and not on painted surfaces such as drywall
- For placement on tile, tile squares must be at least 4 in. x 4 in. in so that suction cups are not placed over grout lines as this will allow air to move under the suction cup thereby releasing its hold
- Balance bar is to be used only to assist and help balance a person’s body, not to stand full body weight, use with caution and always test the suction cups prior to each use
- To clean, simply wipe bar itself along with the underside of the suction cups with a wet warm cloth regularly

Safety Bar For Shower
When I received this item my first thought was...its plastic, Oh boy this is not going to be good. But I followed the directions and attached it to the wall in the shower and OH BOY! it is secure! It has a clip on each end that you simple click into place. Easy and so simple. So, it looks good. Let's see how it handles. It has a nice grip. Wide enough that it fits my hand well and does not slip when my hands are wet but not so big that you cant get ahold of it. This bar did not loosen no matter what I did. I feel comfortable that it won't release when I hold it or slip as other safety bars have. I wish I could attach it to the edge of the tub so I could use it when I take a bath but the edge of the tub is not wide enough for the suction cups that are quite wide which I think is a good thing and may be why the others I have used did not hold. I really like this product. I would not recommend it for tub use but it works great for the shower.
