Check valves do not work

I gave this 2 stars because the faucet works. We bought 3 of these faucets because they have integrated check valves. These check valves do not work. The idea we were told was if someone left the sink on overnight (as it is connected to a chem mixing station) that the hot water would not bleed into the cold water line. Well we have had these for a year and it has happened more than once where the hot water would bleed into the cold water. In short this is no different then any other sink faucet.
