Great bed. But it wasn't as easy to put together as the directions led us to believe. Some of the holes were counter drilled and we had to force the screws through anyway. It worked but took us 3 hours to get the bed together. Once the metal frame is in place it went quickly to get the lats in place. Aside from the extra time to assemble we love the platform bed.

One thing you need to know about this foundation. The corners are very sharp and both my husband and I have hit our legs on them several times. After discarding my box spring (because it was a platform bed) I realized the support is not sufficient enough for the mattress. So we ordered a low profile foundation to put underneath mattress. I think this will solve both problems...like hitting our legs and more support for the mattress. It will accommodate a box spring, plenty of room.
