Game ready-they weren't joking!

I needed a high quality mitt to catch a 70-80mph pitcher for several hours in a very high visibilty professional environment on a minor league field, and i only had a few days to get a handle on it and work it in. This mitt did not let me down! Not too big for a young catcher, very very light to work behind the plate. Tie a ball in it for it to sleep in & get fitted in the pocket and you're good to go. No oil, no conditioner, no time- just put it to work! And the price is easy on the wallet (now i can get that new chest protector too, or maybe a tiny skills mitt!). I'm 55 yr old, have been a catcher since 1971. Seen it all. You cant go wrong with this mitt if you need one quick or spy a 2nd hand model for a back up. Technicals: My hand size is about 7-3/4 and fits inside with a liner glove on great. Feels light for a 33.5, but does handle like a 33.5 Good toe for dirt work. Leather looks quality and strangely soft for a new mitt-not sure how it'll last. Love the old style "fastback" finger hole but hey im an old man that could be a father or grandpa to most of you! May not last like a stiff $300 toilet seat, but im out there playing with it tomorrow and i can work on my arm - not my mitt. I blacked out the gold mizuno logo with a sharpie and think it looks boss that way. Lacing is tight and also looks lIke quality laces, not split grain laces for your old man's work boots.very nice quality. Has a good pop.
