Brewed my first cup this morning, after thorough wash/rinse as recommended. used 1 well rounded tablespoon coffee per cup of water, placed pot on electric stove burner at medium heat and waited for liquid to appear in top of glass lid. Poured in mug added cream and sugar to taste and enjoyed the same taste my grandmother brewed many years ago. I am 82 years old and had resigned myself to drinking instant coffee made in a microwave. Very pleased, that will no longer be the case. Enjoy!!
