Minecraft RC Flying Ghast

In our opinion: Rated for age 8+ Ghast comes packaged in pixel purple camouflage box, R/C controller (3AAA batteries required), spare propellers, USB cable and owner's manual. Out of the Box: Flying Ghast instructions were easy with detailed pictures. We observed 2-2.5hours charging time using a 2.1USB charger. Fully charged Ghast using that method yield average 20-25min air time. More Opinions: We like that Ghast doesn't fly when it is tipped over. Following the instructions for pairing and trim was easy and makes good flying training for novice'. Ghast has powerful flying ability and ultra lite body makes it fun to watch and fly. Our Ghast's height reached as high as our roof. After moments of flying we find that: Ghast will sustain some damage at the corners. The tentacles become weak and bend causing Ghast to topple and unable to fly. we suggest not flying Ghast when the battery indicator light begin to blink to avoid mid-air falls and damage. we suggest not operating Ghast while someone holds it. Ghast R/C is fun and enjoyable to fly, ultra responsive to commands and re-playable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The RC Flying Ghast performed well and as I expected it to. The three issues I have with it are as follows: 1) the charging setup isn't ideal. I would prefer to be able to charge the drone without going through the remote. 2) the instructions were nearly hidden. I had a difficult time finding them. 3) trimming is finicky. It's a solid product though. Flight time exceeded my expectations. It took crashes well too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
