Mezzetta Family Recipes Tomato Basil Sauce, 25 oz Jar

I grew up in an Italian neighborhood. Most of the "pasta sauces" on the market today taste nothing like what my neighbors made. The Mezzetta sauces have authentic Italian flavor and texture, with lots of chunks of tomatoes and herbs. They taste from their ingredients, not from a lot of salt and sugar. In fact, these sauces don't contain added sugar - just the tomatoes, herbs, and spices. Simple ingredients, great taste. And no gluten!

This is my favorite brand of pasta sauce, and I purchase it every week. Simple ingredients (plum tomatoes, olive oil, onions, garlic, basil, sea salt, and spices) make for a simply delicious sauce. No added sugar. It's thick, not runny, and coats the pasta well. I also use it when making chili, lasagna, tomato soups, and sausage and pepper heroes. 😋 Excellent quality 👍👍
