This shelf-stable pesto means I can always have pesto on hand for a last-minute pasta dish, and Mezzetta always tastes fresh. Excellent basil taste, with good amount of chopped pine nuts and quality olive oil. Read a review of 5 different pestos, and this one was rated among the top. I decided to try it, and I'm glad I did. Thanks to Wal-Mart for delivery on a 3 jar option!

This basil pesto is superb, like its cousin Tomato Pesto, also from Mezzetta. A symphony for your taste buds, right out of the jar! If you have this jar plus some leftover cooked pasta in the fridge (or the 60-second microwaveable Ready Pasta from Barilla), you can have dinner on the table in less than two minutes -- and you'll crave it again tomorrow, too.
