Benadryl Ultratabs Antihistamine Cold & Allergy Relief Tablets, 48 Count

I am allergic to many bugs, spiders and fire ants being the worst. After a bite I need to take Benadryl with the hopes that it will stop an acute reaction. Benadryl reduces the swelling and itching at the site and makes me feel better. If not for Benadryl I would probably have to use the EpiPen and go to the ER. I highly recommend Benadryl for allergic attacks and to help me sleep afterwards.

I am over 60 and had never taken Benadryl in my life until I had been stung by wasp which required a trip to the after hours clinic three days later. I had to get a couple of shots and I was told to get Benadryl by name for night and any other non-drowsy brand for day for five days and first few days were difficult, but I came out OK The doctor also recommended that I keep Benadryl on my person or within arm's reach 24 hours a day for the rest of my life and I've done just that. Fast-forward a year later, I stepped in an ant bed. As advised I had my Benadryl on hand and within 30 to 45 minutes the pain started to fade and the swelling had started to go down. I was a little panicky, but I followed the course and everything turned out OK.
