I bought this Levoit unit for my bedroom. I am very happy with it, and I use it all the time without fail! I've vacuumed off the filter and that worked well and it continues to work. I expect I'll have to replace it at some point i've vacuumed off the filter and that worked well and it continues to work. My allergies have improved. The control buttons on top are simple to use, and if you're running it on the medium setting, it's barely audible. The higher setting is more of a White Noise sound.
