I bought this Levoit unit for my bedroom. I am very happy with it, and I use it all the time without fail! I've vacuumed off the filter and that worked well and it continues to work. The control buttons on top are simple to use, and if you're running it on the medium setting, it's barely audible. The higher setting is more of a White Noise sound. I moved into a rental house that unfortunately had a terrible odor that hadn't been there when I was looking. This air purifier got rid of the odor within an hour. At the highest setting it is white noise, and fine for sleeping if you're someone who uses white noise. At the lowest setting, there is no noise, and the middle setting is like a low whisper.

With these air filters in our mud room and dining room I only have to dust once a week and it's not a thick layer anymore! After 3 weeks, The one filter got very full and I was able to tap it out and continue to use . Sounds like a quiet fan when on high. Would buy again
