Metal Gear Solid HD Collection - PlayStation 3

This collections includes three action packed stealth games. With a heavier focus on stealth. The mechanics are great, the graphics hold up extremely well with the HD makeover. The story can get convoluted and pretensious a bit but it depends on how you like your games. These games avoid that realism of the splinter cell series but thats a good thing, the weird element it brings is fantastic. The overall story is told beautifully throughout all games. However they wont all completely come together in just this trilogy. To truly appreciate the entirety of this collection you have to play all the games. Mgs 1 to understand the beginning of 2. Mgs 3 to understand the entirety of the series as it is the first game in the overall timeline and sets everything into motion. It also further elaborates on mgs 2 complicated plot (in a small amount) playing 3 to understand peacewalker and mgs 5. And mgs4 to truly understand everything mgs 2 set up. Its complicated but every game is worth checking out. Each new edition perfects the mechanics and overall gameplay. Its value is worth every penny. And i recommend buying 1, 4, and 5 to complete the collection.
