Mermaid Round Cake

I absolutely LOVE buying custom cakes from Walmart. I don't shop for orders anywhere else. They always go above and beyond and there is never cake left over (if that tells ya anything!) They are delicious! I HIGHLY recommend purchasing their cakes/cupcakes.

We actually ordered two of this mermaid cake (one for the party and a smaller one for the actual birthday). The first we chose vanilla cake with buttercream and the cake was just as pictured and delicious. Several people remarked how tasty it was, how pretty it looked, and asked where I got it. The second we chose chocolate cake with whipped icing. There was a hiccup during ordering and I had to work with a women from the bakery and she was lovely and so sweet. The cake was equally delicious (so I can recommend both flavors). The only difference is that due to the texture of the whipped icing, there were fewer details that you can do (ie the color gradient in the water). Totally fine and still cute, but definitely a slightly different look so just be aware. You can see the slight differences in the photo. Either way I recommend - great value for a beautiful cake!
