I've been buying and consuming this rice for years. To tell the truth, I was shocked Walmart carried such high quality short grain rice. It comes from California and absolutely must have started out as coming from small farmers who had years of experience with Japanese short grain rice. In any event, it is the best buy online at $1.06 a pound. In the stores, it's almost $6 per 5 pound bag. Best to buy online.

This is best deal on the best quality non gmo rice I've found. Packaged and sealed well for long term storage. Love the taste and white rice is best for storing for longer lengths of time which is also a plus. I prefer the individual 5lb bags over the larger ones due to helping it stay fresh longer. Cant go wrong.
