I was stunned by the curry 4 last year, and I was hoping to get the Curry 5 when they released. I have to say the Curry 5 is very much a step up from the Curry 4. But it DOES have its flaws. First, I'll start with the good stuff. I was pleased to find out that this shoe has much more cushion and impact protection than the Curry 4s did, and I was happy about that. I also love the colorway, which i find to go with almost everything. The shoe conforms to your foot, with what seems like Anafoam, and the knit upper, which boosts the comfort up alot. The traction is an iffy on this one, I would have preferred to use the all solid rubber outsole, rather than the translucent outsole, which i find to do much better on the court. But here comes the bad stuff. When I first put on the shoe, and laced them up, I laced them tight, like I normally would have. But when I started to walk and run around in them, I would feel the top lace dig into my skin really hard, and it would hurt for a while, until i loosened them up. But then there is our next problem. I purchased them in a size 10, such as the Curry 4, and 3. But surprisingly enough, when i loosen the laces, my heel starts to slip. NOT a whole bunch like when the sneaker is falling off, but only a bit, but that was something that was noticeable, and pretty annoying as well. Lastly, The toe box was a bit narrow, but it might be because I have a VERY wide foot, but hopefully it breaks in soon. But I do like the heel counter, it keeps my heel in place. All in all? I like this sneaker alot, but only minor improvements need to be made.

I heard a lot of bad things about these shoes and I'm glad i ignored them. These shoes have amazing grip and fit perfect. I had no issues even while breaking them in. The soles pick up dirt real quick and need to be cleaned often. The shoe fits extremely well, so much so that i don't tie my laces.
