I bought this for my brother. Recently I bought several other white Terry men's bathrobes but they were too small and not long enough. This one was big enough to really cover him plus it had the added hood, which is nice. I ordered the really long one so that when he sits down it will dry him off all over. I washed it right after I got it as instructed, and do follow the instructions. It washed up nicely. Don't dry it in hot heat and don't wash it in hot water, use moderate water or cold water to wash. Remember this is like any towel. If you wash and dry them in too hot it quickly wears them out. If you wash them correctly they will last much longer. That is very important for people to understand. You should remember to wash all your wash cloths and towels the same way. Cotton always breaks down under heat. I highly recommend this bathrobe. It is safer to order it much large especially if you are a tall or large person. These robes would be nice for women also. I might order one for me but currently I am using the robes I ordered for my brother that weren't big enough. Big robes like this are hard to find. This one was priced reasonably also.
