These gloves have a weird lumpy look and feel and actually, that is exactly what you want! The fact is most workout gloves aren't cushioned or padded enough so people (athletes in particular) have started using gardening gloves for workouts and lifting. Gardening gloves have the grip you want but your hands sweat because gardening gloves don't let air get to your finger tips. These gloves may not look great, but the quality grip and dry hands let you focus on your workout. I'll probably buy another pair just in case. They are that good. i almost got the fingerless ones but these are better for handling rough lifting bars and the bike handles on the way to the gym. Great buy!
