The cut-off wheels are designed to last 2X longer compared to the standard 426 cut off wheels. The highly-durable cut-off wheels feature a 1-1/2 In. (38.1 mm) wheel diameter and 0.045 In. (1.1mm) thick blade making it ideal to cut, groove, and trim all types of metal including hardened steel. Perfect for projects like cutting bolt heads, cutting sheet metal, or trimming metal rods. The cutting discs are also ideal for delicate woodworking projects and can be used on other materials including wood, plastics or ceramics. The wheels are designed with the patented EZ Lock™ system making accessory changes quick and easy.

I love the ease of the EZ lock system, the size of these wheels. Way better than my old cut off wheels that are tiny and have the tiny screw that goes through the middle. Not to mention they don't last long like these wheels do. Kinda pricey but a few extra bucks will save you lots of time and headache of the old style.
