McCormick Kosher Rosemary Leaves, 0.35 oz

I received McCormick Whole Rosemary Leaves from BzzAgent free in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely love them! For me, they're a game changer in the kitchen. In the past, I've done a fresh rosemary and garlic rub on roast chicken; everyone in the family loves it. So I thought I'd use it on a turkey breast for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, my rosemary plant didn't make it through the heavy rains this year—enter the McCormick Whole Rosemary Leaves! I crumbled the dried rosemary into some oil, then added chopped garlic, kosher salt, and fresh ground pepper. The scent was incredible, very strong and fresh compared to other dried herbs. And it kept my hands clean—unlike fresh rosemary, which always left my hands with an oily, sticky residue. Made it very easy to baste the chicken before baking. It was one of the most popular dishes at our Thanksgiving table! And I'll definitely be using McCormick Whole Rosemary Leaves in our regular chicken roasts and other recipes as well. Looking forward to trying it in all kinds of meals—from roasted Yukon gold potatoes to focaccia.

I must admit, I usually use fresh rosemary when cooking, but McCormick's dried rosemary leaves are the best dried rosemary that I have tried. I absolutely love shepherd's pie and this rosemary really brings out the flavor in the lamb. There is a robust flavor and it works well in many dishes. For the shepherd's pie I also put some rosemary into the mashed potatoes which adds an additional level of flavor. I would recommend some if you are looking for quick and easy seasoning that adds a lovely and powerful layer of flavor to your dish.
