Drill many holes thru oyster shells

This bit drilled 112 holes thru oyster shells and is still able to drill more. If you drill dry you will dull/ruin the bit! The shells are hard - each hole took 30-40 seconds. I placed a sponge in a bread pan and covered with water. The sponge held the shell from slipping. The area of the hole was slightly underwater which lubed bit and kept it cool … essential! Let the bit cut - don't press too hard. The bit did not come with drilling fluid like shown above. Be smart with the tool and water and you'll be fine.

Nice to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to have a couple of these and the larger sizes in my Dremel kit sometimes I run into a situation where I need to make some small holes through glass and it does so pretty quick

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought this bit several times to cut through sea glass for jewelry. If I have to make a larger hole I create several small holes then cut out between them. It gives it a unique look.
