(Gravy will thicken upon standing.) **Microwave Directions **1. Stir water into gravy mix in 2-quart microwavable bowl. **2. Microwave on High 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate. **Must be cooked for food safety. **Kitchen Tips **Serve over biscuits, chicken fried steak, fried chicken or home fries. **Sausage Gravy: Stir 1/2 cup crumbled cooked breakfast sausage into prepared gravy.

McCormick Brown Gravy is deep and beefy with a nice balance
McCormick Brown Gravy Mix is a lifesaver when you're short on time but still want that comforting, savory touch to your meal. The 0.87 oz packet is perfectly portioned for a small family dinner, and it whisks up quickly with just water—no fuss, no lumps if you stir it right. The flavor is deep and beefy, with a nice balance of salt and spices. It pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, meatloaf, or roast beef. While it doesn't quite match homemade gravy from pan drippings, it's impressively close for a mix. I also appreciate that it's made without artificial flavors or MSG.

Homestyle ease
Gravy mix was very easy to make and really elevated my dishes. It reminded me of a nice home southern style meal. Made the mashed potatoes better than Cracker Barrel's and I use this often on top of my meals as a hearty tasty flavorful dressing. Perfect on top of chicken and meats.

I received this product for free in return for my honest review. I used this for a family dinner of steak and mashed potatoes, and it did not disappoint! I admittedly am not a huge gravy fan, I've only ever had the kind in a jar, but this packet has made me a believer. It's really flavorful, the texture aligns more with my preferences and it really elevated the meal. I will absolutely be purchasing this again!
