Chili spice

Was skeptical of amount when making a medium batch of chili because I wasn't sure how an ancho chili spice would work. Second time I made chili I put in two teaspoons and found the spice enlivened and enhanced it with a very nice flavor and compliment.

great taste with a surprising new use

I have always had a small bowel in my refridgerator with whats leftover from opening a can of Ancho Chili's and half of the time that I went to use them again, they had lost most or all of their flavor. This powder has come in handy to use for adding flavor and a spicy kick to my recipes that ask's for the chili's. What I did find that turned out to be the perfect use for the Ancho Chili Powder was as an additive to my rub. It has now replaced all of the Cayenne pepper that previously was used for it adds the kick of spice but also a wonderful flavor that the Cayenne just never did.
