Fresh hot and smoky, roasted flavor

I think my palate has outgrown cayenne pepper because I can hardly ever taste the heat. No matter how I prepare the dish. So I tried this Chipotle chili spice. It was well worth the try. The flavor tastes as if the peppers were roasted and smoked to perfection while not losing a single degree of it's heat. Wow! I initially tried a light sprinkle on a soy based chicken cutlet, with multi sweet pepper blend. Great. Didn't stop there. I had an urge to try it on popcorn... Yes indeed it's still winning. Finally, I wanted to kick the sprinkle up a notch by using it on a quick & easy shortcuts meal with, pork in a chipotle cheddar stir fry with brown rice and vegetables. The flavor and punch came through again and my pork dish was the star of the day. My next attempt is adding it to my ground turkey or lamb and apple chili, served in a sourdough bread bowl and topped with sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream and corn chips. If you're a fan of hot and spicy, I recommend this product.

I love this spice! It is quite hot which is why I like it so much!! This spice is very difficult to find, so buy it here at Walmart because you may not ever find it again in a store. I highly recommend this spice. A little goes a long way!!

A Must for your Spice Rack!

I was very excited to receive this spice from the Spark Review program! My husband absolutely loves Mexican food. I, however, cannot handle any kind of peppers even with gloves on.  We like our food with a little kick but not real hot. This spice has a wonderful Chipotle Chili flavor. It also has a smoky flavor. I love that you can not only use it in your current recipes, but McCormick has a recipe section just for this spice. I made hamburgers for my 11 year old grandson and added some chipotle seasoning and a little kosher salt to the ground meat before cooking… he said it was the best burger he ever ate! I grilled my onions and added a little shredded cheese to top them off before putting them on the bun. Also, the website recipe section has a recipe for Mayonnaise mixed with a little seasoning to put on the bun. Can't wait to try that! I used it to make beef nachos as my husband has high blood pressure, I have to cut back on salt. Just a little salt and this seasoning made the beef taste great! It doesn't require a lot of seasoning so it lasts for a while. It is well worth the purchase.
