Makes A Great Pot Of Chili
We had chili for dinner tonight. Usually I buy a certain brand of chili seasoning mix and have for years. Until tonight, when I tried the McCormick Gluten-Free Chili Seasoning Mix. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. Made a hearty pot of chili with a smooth taste. I could taste the spices but nothing was overpowering. Just a plain good pot of chili. And, with this mix, I could tell there was less salt than the previous brand I had been buying. This mix is so simple to use. Brown a pound of ground beef or turkey, add one can of diced tomatoes, along with a can of kidney or pinto beans and this mix and you are finished. Really quick meal and so many options. You could also make spaghetti to go with the chili and add cheese. Yummy. I really did enjoy eating my chili dinner tonight and I am pretty picky when it comes to chili.

Tastes Same as Original
McCormick Gluten-Free Chili Seasoning Mix is great. I have been using the original chili mix for ages and this new gluten-free is just as good. I always season my meat separately with salt pepper and garlic when browning, I then add onion and pepper to a deep pot with a bit of olive oil, saute until soft, throw in the diced tomatoes and tomato paste and the sauce, bring to a boil, simmer for awhile, then throw in the meat and voila. Anyone wanting to cut out unnecessary gluten or on a gluten-free diet should try it, you won't be disappointed.
