It's Still...Good to the Last Drop ~!
Although it's been decades since I lived in Jacksonville, Florida, when I did, I had friends who lived close to the Maxwell House coffee plant, built in 1924 at 735 E. Bay St. You could smell the coffee miles and miles away, way before you even got close to the plant. The wonderful aroma of coffee permeated throughout the city. And, the giant neon sign on the building, with a coffee cup and the 'drips' coming out of it, was a sight to be seen. Oh, the memories. Anyway, when I can't afford my organic coffee, Maxwell House has always been my go-to. Granted, coffee prices are worlds away from what they were back in the 70s, but I find this 38.2-ounce canister of Maxwell House to be an excellent price for the brand that it is. I will forever be a huge fan, because after all these decades, Maxwell House coffee has always lived up to its slogan...Good to the Last Drop.
