Marineland 5 Gallon Aquarium Kit, Glass Fish Tank with Filter and LED Lights

I bought 3 of these in 2017 and they still work to this day. This one I'm reviewing is my 4th one that I just bought. I love these because it is all glass with rounded edges in front, a black divider on the back side to conceal the filter and pump, day and night lights, quiet to operate, affordable filter, I am using 3 of these tank for 3 bettas. They are happy with their space. This 4th tank houses 4 GLow Light tetras and 2 albino Cory cats. I only used distilled water and do 1 gal water change every 2 weeks. I don't have any mineral deposit build up. I keep the glass lid closed to prevent water evaporation. I use magnetic glass cleaner to keep the glass clean. I rinse the sponge and carbon filters every 2 weeks and replace the carbon filter after a month of use. I have the pump at max setting and adjust the nozzle to the kind of turbulence/air I want in the water. I have plants and other decor to protect the Bettas from strong water movements. All the fishes appear to be happy and thriving. If you just want a small tank, this is perfect. Maintenance is easy and affordable. Glass is clearer, better and prettier than plastic. If you want to put your heater behind the divider, you should try smaller heater like the Fluval brand. I prefer Tetra heater but it's a tight fit in the compartment. One thing that I also do is empty the tanks completely and rinse them out, clean all parts I can clean, including behind the divider, hoses, sponge. If you do this, just make sure you don't move the tank unless it's empty. You don't the glass cracking and causing leakage.
