This cutting board is glossy and looks like inexpensive furniture. It doesn't actually look like a cutting board. It gets marked up right away and you can't help but to think that you are ruining it when you use it. I purchased two - one for my kitchen and a second for a relative's kitchen. We both had the same experience. Weird.
