Mainstays Velour Beach Towel, Squiggly Geo,Blue , 28x60

This is a cute little towel! It is on the thinner side, but I’ve come to prefer thin beach towels over the years. There’s 2 reasons a thin towel is better: locations near the ocean are humid, so if you get your towel wet after your first trip into the ocean and then decide to go back in later, thicker towels are still unpleasantly damp. This nice thin towel should air dry quickly. Also, thinner towels are more packable for air travel — they don’t take up a quarter of your suitcase. This towel is 83% cotton (I prefer mostly cotton towels — they just feel nicer) and 17% recycled polyester. Nice that the polyester is recycled - bonus points for Walmart! The alligator design is goofy, but adorable for kids. He's the most non-threatening alligator I have ever seen! The stitching is even all around, with no snags or imperfections. It seems like the towel should be fairly durable. The only thing that gives me pause? For some reason the care instructions say to wash it on delicate cycle. I don’t think this is normal for towels? Seems odd to me, but hopefully it won't matter if I wash it on the normal cycle like I do my other towels.

We got the 'Ms Be Kind' large, colorful beachtowel for our almost 8-year old daughter. It is her favorite thing to throw on after swimming, dry off with after bathtime, use as a soft 'rug' for in front of her Dreamhouse. Plus the quote is a colorful reminder 2 not be so cranky at times lol....definitely recommend!
