No worries about overwatering even for indoor plants. Reservoir holds almost two quarts of water – not skimpy and important in places like central Florida. The water wicks up from the reservoir through the perforated platform. This is easy to move if you need to rotate plants from a sunny hot site to a cooler one. Inexpensive compared to others on the market. Also good for small vegetables like chives.
