Great value for the money

It is lightweight, I had the wooden one before and that weighed a ton. Remember not to push the seat or lid down, let it descend by itself. Because pushing it is how I ruined the wooden one and could not fix it. Not even with YouTube video. There was just no way putting it back together. But I am liking this one. Super easy to slide out and clean properly and absolutely soundless.

The slow-close seat that came with our Kohler toilet cracked in the back in no time. I took a chance on this Mainstays one because the reviews were great and I really hoped it would fit my toilet. So I am here to say that it WILL fit a Kohler chair height elongated bowl (model %23 1323429 that is sold at Lowes Home Improvement). This one is actually better than the original seat. Slow-close feature works perfectly.
