will not completely tighten standard nut before coming to far out of socket to fit. ( nut gets into metric fit area before tightening is complete )

We are sorry to hear this set didn't work for you. The tolerances on fasteners can sometimes be a problem for Unifit style sets. In this scenario, it is best to use a SAE or Metric set as required. Feel free to return the set if it does not meet your future needs.
