The mat (fluttering butterflies) is so pretty! The colors are so vibrant, it looks just like it does in the picture but better. It is an outdoor mat, although I'm sure you could still use it indoors. It has a thick rubber backing like you'd expect in an outdoor mat (I wasn't sure until it arrived). It has held up against the sun, dogs, and water thus far. I would purchase it again.
