I adore this rug. People have complimented it, and I promptly tell them where I bought it. It is bright, but tastefully so. It feels sunny. It is not that thick, but I enjoy sitting on it from time to time. It is comfy. And that is without a pad. It does show a little wear, but mine is in a high traffic area. It is easy to vacuum. If you get a smaller size, it would be machine washable. I am even considering the other colors for the future.
