Midea 1,500-Watt Quartz Electric Space Heater with Adjustable Thermostat and Safety Features

I bought two of these because they are the only style of heater I could find that doesn't blow hot air. But they get insanely hot, in a good way. I run two of these at opposite sides of my 800 square foot apartment and it stays cozy, not using ANY OTHER heat! I turn off my apt. heat pump and just use these. Others have said that because they don't blow heat, they don't make a room as hot. But that's not at all what I've found. I come into my apartment after a cold dog walk, and find the entire space is delightfully warm. And I can tell the dogs enjoy it too, as they get crazy to run back inside. Sometimes I have to turn the heat down! A ceiling fan in the room can really help disperse the heat evenly, so I run that on low on bitter cold days. When I'm really chilled, it's the best to get up close or set this under my home office desk and enjoy the heat that gets trapped under the desk. In white, these blend in nicely (better than black), and overall they have been the best! I personally don't enjoy the blowing kind because it kicks up dust, and sometimes if it's oscillating you have to wait for the heat to roll back around, and then it's chilly when it moves away. I always hated that. I also always hated the constant noise of blowing heaters. No regrets with these, except that I wish I'd discovered them long ago.
