Good Cord

We had a recent electrical issue and needed to run an extension cord across the bedroom. I needed one that I could safely plug a window fan, led plant light and wi-fi extender into. It also had to have grounded outlets and a plug configuration that would allow for larger power cords to fit comfortably. I thought it would be a good thing if it could also be used outdoors, if need be. This cord ended up being just what I was looking for. I could tell by looking at the photos that the cord did not have a low profile plug, so I was expecting it to stick out from the wall, but it was definitely a lot bulkier than I anticipated. I plugged it in behind a dresser and I had to pull it out several inches from the wall accommodate the plug. It's not a big deal, since it's only temporary. If you are looking for a cord that you can tuck behind furniture, you'll want to take the size of the plug into consideration. Since this is a heavy cord, that is also meant for outdoor use, it's thick and sturdy. It also has an ergonomic handle on both ends, which makes it easier to unplug.

Thought the grabber holes might be gimmicky or to stand apart from other cords, but they are handy and do stand out. Easily pull plug from wall with minimal effort. When the price is right, try one out. I now have several in multiple colors and couldn't be happier.

Easy to use, well made

As my home and I get older, I realize that I am retaining more material and belongings, which is problematic when I buy something, as all my outlets are in use, or too far away from my new toys that require electricity. This set of two 50' cords really are of decent quality, the thickness and solid ends on both sides of the cord. I like the donut hole like opening at the tail end, as this allows me to hold on to it while stringing it along. This works perfect for construction sites as it is tough enough that connecting ancillary items to it (lights, battery chargers, etc) does not cause the cord to heat up. I imagine I will relegate this cord to power decorations, and handle the light work from time to time.
