rice...an aroma?

that was part of the initial 5 part break down of the product. if you just fix plain old rice, it has no distinguishable aroma. but i wanted bas mati rice and bought a 5 lb bag. im trying to follow an Ayurvedic way of eating. I really wish i had the money to buy lots of the precooked/ seasoned bags of rice, but it gets too costly. Plus its fun to read recipies and create. it might not pass muster with someone from India but i like it and it's very different and satisfying.
