I wouldn't call it heavy duty as it is fairly light weight. However, it covers the door frame well and the magnets seem strong enough to keep it closed. We have a cat and a dog and both of them have no problem pushing through the magnets or under the screen. Keeps the bugs out and that is the best feature.

Fits great. Tacks and magnets could have been stronger. It is great to turn off the ac and let fresh air in. I wish I didn't have a metal front door because the magnets want to stick to it.
