I purchased the Magnatab Numbers and Shapes for my Pre-K Autistic and VPK students- 3-4 years old. They love the magnetic aspect and their interest is held for quite some time (they'll practice on these for anywhere from 15 minutes going over the numbers and shapes to a 1/2 hour. These are highly effective in encouraging and establishing pre-cursive writing skills, basic fine motor skills and refining existing writing skills, at each stage of development for the age groups I've mentioned above. I wish I'd had these earlier. Their numeric skills have improved tremendously. I highly recommend these!

Such a great learning tool

I loved this learning tool for my 5 year old. He is still working on drawing shapes as well as numbers and think that this will be a great interactive visual for him. I also really enjoyed the fact that my 8 year old thought it was like ""magic."" It works great and the magnetic pen holds securely in its slot at the top for future uses. It is really well made and durable.
