it keeps us nice and warm, with another blanket under it in the winter.. It is nice and light so we also use it in the summer without the other blanket. We live in the mountains at 5700 ft so that makes a difference for people at sea level. The color I go is Blue and the color it nice and rich, the satin all around the blanket is prefect. You can't got wrong buying this Blanket!!

Luxury design with satin trim and 3M Scotchgaurd to prevent moisture and help prevent stains. Hypoallergenic. This is a breathable blanket, very soft and smooth comfortable material. I have an ac unit in my window 2 ft from my bed and a fan on the other side so I generally use a heavier blanket. This down alternative is pretty thin and very lightweight but it is just as warm as a comforter. I love that I have replaced my big heavy blanket with this beautiful, comfy lightweight blanket and they are very affordable so I'm replacing 2 others with the Madison park lightweight down alternative.
