My living room faces the afternoon sun and for years, even if it's cold outside, it's borderline warm in there. I had to do some measuring and some cutting and with a little trial and error, I was able to hang it by myself. So far, the afternoon sun is blocked and I can sense it's a bit cooler. The instructions are very simple, hence my need for the trial and error portion but I'm sure if I can do it anyone can. I had some sheers hanging in the window I put the shade in so I hung them up to cover the sides of the blind that's showing glass. That's my fault for not measuring before ordering. I'm a little worried to see what happens if the tape loses its grip so we'll see!!
