You know what you are getting with this. Is it worth the premium over the FE? Probably not. I do like how it looks though, I like that it has no RGB and it does have a better cooler than the FE. My version caps out at 100% power in afterburner. I swear I have seen youtube videos of it at 104 to 109. It is the "OC" version, so shouldn't be locked. It is a 5090 though and I am only using it on 1440p, so don't care that much.

How to undervolt with better performance

Honestly was a bit worried buying from a third party seller for such an expensive GPU though I did message them and they confirmed they are an authorized seller and I was able to register the warranty with MSI without issue. As far as the GPU goes, was hoping to get the suprim model mainly for the beefed up powerstage and dual BIOS capability but I ended up undervolting it while still getting 99.5% of stock performance and that beefed up powerstage isn't going to really do anything for me. I did do a bit of an overclock to start and was sitting at 3000Mhz stable, prbly could've gone more but it wasn't my main intent and this one is limited to 575W though I don't see the extra 25W of a card with a 600W bios doing to much extra. Thought about flashing an unlocked bios but at the end of the day as stated above I undervolted it so in games that really push the card we are around 350-385W, some games it runs below 300W. In afterburner leave all your power limiters at 100%, I even disabled the voltage control in afterburner just to avoid any potential instabilities and we don't need manual voltage control for this anyway. Pull up the curve editor by hitting Ctrl f or based off which skin for afterburner you have active on UI there will be a button for curve editor. Now this is important, the card idles at 800mV so you want to find the data point for 810mV then if you hold shift while clicking and holding left click you can drag from 810-890 or 900mV, this will leave this range highlighted. Now if you click any point in this range it will let you adjust all these voltage/frequency points at once. I'd recommend selecting the ma point you highlighted so either 890 or 900mV and drag it up utill it says 900 or 1000 and hit apply on the main afterburner window(hitting apply is important!). let's say I highlight 810-900mV, after highlighted I will click on the 900mV data point and then drag it up to 2837, aim for 2800Mhz /-50Mhz on what your max voltage point was. Every GPU is different and the silicon lottery comes into play here, may have to do some basic stability testing and don't feel bad if your 50Mhz lower than somebody else, it's a very minor performance difference. AFTER YOU HIT APPLY GROM OUR PREVIOUS ADJUSTMENT you will now go and repeat the hold shift to select multiple days points but this time we are going to select everything to the right of what's was our max so in my case everything above 900mV. One selected drag it all the way to the bottom of the chart, It will show -2800Mhz but that's what we want. CLICK APPLY AGAIN. You'll notice all the higher voltage are now just a flat line and didn't increase over what your 900mv point is set to. If you set it to 900mV the max in games is 885-890, if selected 890 it'll max out at 875-880mv. Congrats, you now have better than stick performance below 400 watts. This is also much safer on the 12v2x6 cake as we know those like to melt. Waiting on my water block to see if I can push lower.
