I was looking at a highly rated antenna for about $120, but I saw this for $17 and thought I really had not much to lose. I was right. This thing works great.

It works! It really works! I decided to "cut the cable" a year ago, trying several OTA (over-the-air) antennas with or without some success. The choice is almost endless with shapes, sizes, and promises. Most require an additional power source to "boost" the antenna's strength. Then I found the Magic Stick TV Max. Such a simple concept...a tube! I had to try it. With my earlier antennas I was lucky to get 4 or 5 stations. Magic Stick delivers 56 clear, crisp, colorful choices. That's amazing to me. I live in the southwestern corner of a southwestern state, surrounded by mountains and high desert and not a city in sight. I merely followed the directions and placed it on a patio window. It's about 10" long and an inch in diameter making it one of the smaller antennas sold. After looking at numerous antennas and trying several, I found size does not matter. Small, lightweight, and priced right. It works for me. It really works.
